What Data We Store
Wipix stores minimal data. Here's what exists on our servers:
- Anonymous account ID — a random identifier with no personal information
- Leaderboard entry — your randomly generated username and weekly wipe count
- Anonymous usage analytics — swipe counts, feature usage, crash reports (via Firebase)
We do not store your photos, name, email, contacts, location, or any personally identifiable information.
How to Request Data Deletion
To delete all data associated with your Wipix account, send an email to:
support@wipix.app
Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process your request within 7 days.
What Gets Deleted
- Your anonymous account and all associated data in our database
- Your leaderboard entry and weekly stats
- Any analytics data linked to your anonymous ID
What We Cannot Delete
- On-device data — app preferences and stats stored locally on your phone. To remove these, uninstall the Wipix app.
- Subscription data — managed by Google Play or Apple App Store. Cancel subscriptions through your device's store settings.
Self-Service Deletion
You can also delete your local data directly in the app:
- Open Wipix
- Tap the settings icon (top right)
- Scroll down to "Reset All Stats"
- Confirm the reset
To fully remove all server-side data, please also send the email request above.
